CWU NITB stands in solidarity with the people of Omagh and Northern Ireland following the appalling attack on John Caldwell in front of his young son last Wednesday night. We cannot allow ourselves as a society to be dragged back to the dark days of violence by people who want to erase 25 years of progress.
The shooting of John was a despicable act and something that cannot be allowed to happen again. We wish Detective Chief Inspector Caldwell a speedy recovery and encourage all of our members to attend this rally in Omagh tomorrow.
