The CWU has recently embarked on discussions with BT to improve employee support for a range of mental health conditions.
Delegates at Annual Conference raised a number of concerns about difficulty some members have experienced getting the support they need, and in particular, how those struggling to cope are being impacted by performance management.
The Union are seeking mandatory mental health training for all managers within three months of their appointment, as well as better training for managers in Mental Health First Aid.
