The number of members affiliated to Congress in NI is just short of 200,000.
The issues covered and debated ranged from Post Brexit Issues and Impact on Workers, Collective Bargaining, Remote Working and Housing to name a few.
The main NI Political Parties were represented by:-

- Paula Bradley DUP
- Paula Bradshaw Alliance
- Colin Mc Grath SDLP
- Michelle O’Neill Sinn Fein
all of whom addressed the issue of “What would your party do for Workers Rights in Northern Ireland”
Common themes amongst the Parties were Childcare cost, Flexible working (incl.4 day week), Parental Leave, the Living Wage, Climate Change, Right to disconnect and the practice of Fire and Rehire. Find words, but action needs to be taken to back up the promises.
