International Workers’ Memorial Day 28th April

Every year more people are killed at work than in wars. Most don’t die of mystery ailments, or in tragic “accidents”. They die because an employer decided their safety just wasn’t that important a priority. International Workers’ Memorial Day (IWMD) 28 April commemorates those workers.

HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART?

On Wednesday 28 April 2021, 2pm the TUC will be holding an online event with special guest speakers Sharan Burrows, General Secretary of the ITUC, Frances O’Grady, General Secretary of the TUC, Louise Adamson, Families Against Corporate Killers and more speakers tbc. Register for the event
