BT Pay Bulletin 2025
Mar 26, 2025
Dear Members,
BT Pay Consultative Ballot Result 2025
We are writing to let you know the outcome of the ballot on the BT pay offer; the result is as follows:
Accepting the pay offer: 70% of valid votes
Rejecting the pay offer: 30% of valid votes
Of the ballot papers dispatched, 57% were returned.
The CWU has now confirmed acceptance of the proposed one year pay offer to BT and they are now taking steps to implement this in April salaries. Below is a reminder of the agreement reached:
Consumer Frontline spot rates in Contact Centres (Levels 0-3) will increase by 6.73%, fully consolidated and pensionable. This ensures that the Li pay rate remains 7.5% higher than the National Living Wage.
Consumer Frontline team members who have a current salary which is less than their uplifted spot rate (after 1 April 2025) will move to the new pay rate for their role, or receive a minimum uplift of 1% plus £1000 on their current Full Time Equivalent salary as per bullet point 3, whichever is the greater.
All other team members will receive a minimum of 1% plus £1000 on their current Full Time Equivalent salary (the entire sum will be both consolidated and pensionable).
All team members must be in BT Group employment on 1st April 2025 to be eligible for the pay uplift. The date for the next annual pay review will be 1st April 2026.
Thanks to all who participated in the ballot.
Yours sincerely
KAREN ROSE
Deputy General Secretary (T&FS)
