RMPFSL 2022 – Pay and Associated Issues Ballot

Royal Mail Property and Facilities Solutions Limited (RMPFSL) 2022 Pay and Associated Issues Ballot for Industrial Action: Workplace Bulletins for RM Cleaners (Update 2)

Dear Colleagues,

Further to the Outdoor Department Memo (ODM027/22), issued on the 25th of August which included three workplace bulletins that are directed towards our RM cleaning members and which were circulated over and above the generic communications issued by union headquarters in line with the national Industrial Action ballot of members in RMPFSL.

To further assist all Branches and Representatives in engaging and galvanizing our RMPFSL members in supporting this ballot, the Outdoor Department has drafted up two further workplace bulletins in response to two recent developments which has arisen since the national Industrial Action ballot commenced. Both bulletins are attached.

The first bulletin seeks to cover the ‘revised offer’ that has now been tabled by RMPFSL and which crossed over the ballot timetable, and the second seeks to address the wider claims of RMPFSL management that any further movement and improvement on pay and associated issues are linked to Royal Mail Group’s overall financial position.

In issuing these two further workplace bulletins it is relevant to again point out that a lot of our cleaning members are lone workers and providing them with these bulletins will provide a good opportunity during the course of the ballot timetable to initiate conversations on the dispute, remind them that they are part of a collective union who believe they simply deserve better than what the employer has set out.

We hope that this will further assist Branches and Representatives to engage with all their RMPFSL members in this dispute and in returning a huge YES vote.

For any enquiries please contact the Outdoor Department at: njones@cwu.org Yours sincerely,

Mark Baulch
