Countdown to first BT Group-wide strike ballot since 1987

Members across Openreach, BT and EE are being urged to tune in to the  union’s social media channels today (Wednesday) evening for a special live announcement on the forthcoming industrial action ballot on pay.

At 7pm sharp the timetable of the first BT Group-wide statutory ballot on strike action in 35 years will be revealed – with CWU general secretary Dave Ward joining deputy general secretary (T&FS) Andy Kerr and CWU president Karen Rose to mark a defining moment for industrial relations in the telecommunications and broadband giant.
